Quality Assurance

Our quality assurance policy

Atlantis College strives to ensure the delivery of continued academic programme quality and excellence, and adopts the criteria needed for a functional, well-documented quality assurance system that enables continuous improvement through self-evaluation and action planning. Its Quality Policy aims:

  • To ensure appropriate and transparent governance and management structures that guarantee continuous progress in quality assurance and improvement.
  • To ensure that strategic planning and quality assurance mutually inform and support each other.
  • To develop a quality culture that permeates all areas of the College for the benefit of students, staff and the community.
  • To implement and maintain procedures for the approval, monitoring and review of programmes.
  • To take the advice of independent external peers and organisations, including external examiners and professional, statutory and regulatory bodies.
  • To gather data and conduct periodic surveys of students, employers and other stakeholders for quality improvement and policy making.

The policy supports academic integrity and freedom, protects against academic fraud and guards against unfairness and discrimination. Ultimate responsibility for the quality assurance framework rests with the Quality Assurance Committee; procedures are set out in the College's Quality Manual.
